Pork Belly

Sublime. Perfection. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My dinner and the photo is of the pork belly. If you love pork bellies as much as I do, this is a must! The potatoes had lots of butter and the vegetables were cooked crunchy the way they are supposed to be. They are all in a light orange sauce. The servings are very generous and I took half the pork belly and more than half the potatoes home for breakfast. I was not going to take a photo but after a couple bites I knew I had to share how beautiful this was. What I really appreciated was that the entire menu was or could be made gluten free. I did not even have to explain what it was, as I usually do. That wall with the turquoise bicycle I want! The staff is attentive and friendly. It was my first time there and I felt like I had eaten there many times I was so comfortable and made to feel so at home.

Don't let the name scare you away. If you're an American craving a good burger...this is the place. Wonderful mac and cheese...wonderful shepherd's pie. Not a fancy place by any means but very economical, clean, and friendly. Don't miss it if you're spending time in San Miguel.
